its just sad that i have very few encouraging teachers,those that are, are vey few and i really thank God for them.
Now see, take Higher Chinese, and SS for example, not only do i do satisfactory in those subjects, i am beginning to really love those subjects
a huge comparison to both sciences
and i know, i shouldn't base my results on teachers but sometimes, teachers who really believe in you, and i dont mean the kind that go " you can do better but you wont because you aren't working hard enough and blah blah blah", can really motivate you to do better, even if in the end, you will never need those marks.
老師came into class today and gave us new targets to work for, no, not targets, but rather realistic marks that will reflect our true potential. based on the class average and my recent prelims score, i figured no stress, cause at most its a b3. AT MOST. Then 老師 got to GR, and when she reached my name, all she said was "慧敏， 如果你不拿到 A2， 就是對不起18代的祖先。你是少數可以拿到A2的。 你很早就有了很穩固的基礎，只是太久沒有發揮出來。Prelims的成績，你真的不該拿啊！”
at my seat, i was squirming about, while thinking about what she said, and then i recalled when we first started a new banded class with 老師, she told me exactly the same thing, that i had alot of potential in me to do well for chinese, and with a little more hard work, an A2 is not impossible.
& then you realised, 老師 is really, one of the few that can make me really feel that i can do well, and that i shouldn't give up on myself.
i wish all my teachers were like that...
but, yes, i love my SS teachers too, cause Mrs Wang is a really cool teacher(:

i think its time my blog really took a break,which also includes my beloved Facebook and darling YouTube account which i can hardly live without ):
Prelim results have been disgusting;
okay, maybe i didn't do well for any subject in particular and only got slightly above average but still lousy marks for all my languages and humanities;
but as obvious as ever, my maths and SCIENCES are drowning and i am in deep trouble if they dont start picking up
its not even ten weeks to the real Os, but really, even sometimes i find myself thinking i still have the world's time in my hands, and deceiving myself that i am in full control of everything.
well, apparently not, so i really have to start bucking up.
it IS quite depressing rather,
with 5.5 hrs of EMath straight today, and more to come,
life in school seems rather bleak and just tiresome..
let's not panic here.
if miracles have been seen, with old girls who score 30 over points for prelims can study that much harder to get a 6-9 for Os,
i dont see why i can be like them, and my prelims indeed ain't very different..
hmm....

Perfect English now, at least for the next 24 hours.Oral tomorrow, so, wish me luck(:
I think, i screwed up Prelims, oh well, at least for Science and English,
i should have done relatively better then i thought i could for the others,
but nonetheless, its quite bad.
And oh, the trouble over schools next year too -.-
Not having chinese is not something easy,
proof seen from nearly an hour spent on YouTube videos (all chinese!)
And my iTunes which happens to be playing my chinese playlists now, since chinese songs make me concentrate more then english songs can..
Hahah hopefully, it'll turn out fine tmr (:

Reflections during a state birthday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!LOVE YOU!
Now, lets talk about this oh so anticipated National Day Parade.
So now, while my darling poor juniors who have worked for months, marching every saturday to prepare for today, are standing out there, representing RCY and doing SCRCY proud, i'm here thinking, WHAT HAPPEN TO THE SONGS! Haha! After months of marching for them, now they march for a relatively long distance and stand for a longer time in Senang or Sediya and listen to the new renditions of the songs. (Which, have seriously became very weird...)
Whats with tonights gonna be a good night and all! &fast songs are suddenly slow songs and vice versa!? Argh!! Not fun to sing anymore! (And, there look like jokers out from the poker cards!!)
Oh yeah, not forgetting how daddy Mr Lee must always arrive before and wait for son Mr Lee! Hahah, but they're awesome in their own way so its cool! :)
I THINK OUR PRESIDENT IS THE COOLEST! :)

you know how i felt so tired on friday and all,well now i'm well and rested after wasting exactly 2 days doing nothing but YouTubing, hanging out with my mom's colleagues, and having too much fun with them. :)
sometimes, it just feels so nice to be spoilt by them and feel so much more comfortable with them, HAHAH :)
i think, i should start studying! :)

Today is such a happy flappy day!!Haha, okay, i over-exerggerate, but its been wonderful forgetting the dreaded prelims, and just immersing myself in the arts (like you know, film and TV Dramas?)
So yeah, its still 5th August,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOMI!
you're a big girl now who well, have a vast knowledge of random things like sun fishes. Although we love to bully you, ESPECIALLY deborah tan jy, BUT you know deep down we really love you, right? HAHA :)
Watched Aftershock with JY and Domi, and its amazing. &the experience was really..something else. Hahah we walked in 7 minutes late, and realised that the entire theatre and no kidding, they were ALL old (i mean, elderly) people, which was rather weird. Hahah plus we already looked like we pon-ned school.
And then, in the middle of the Earthquake scene, this old lady behind us suddenly burst out and said 太誇張了吧 super loudly, and the three of us couldn't stop laughing. But other then that, the movie was really good, and the lead actress was really pretty too! (Haha, JY agrees, so i am not kidding) Oh yeah, but earthquake scences just reminds me of geog, so THAT sucks. Haiz.
I'm glad to have my family, and really thank God i got to grow up in such a well-balance school and had good upbringing, no i'm not saying i'm a perfect little girl, but its just nice to know that i'm really blessed, sometimes :)

I think, the media is a very cruel place to be in, (Haha, cruel stage!)But yes, its rather horrible that stars get their home staked out and even their family gets thrown into this thing, its rather gross
and no, i may not exactly like them but i think its still sad...
(so i should appreciate them and their efforts more and watch more tv and all right)
Oh did i make it obvious enough for the past year, i hate Singapore shows, ahaha i mean after watching the taiwan and hong kong ones, Singapore's storylines are really, uh gross. Hahah, but i DID watch No Limits yesterday, although 70% of the time i didnt understand the whole thing, but the Malaysian girl is ultra pretty!! (: (: (:
you know, a senior once told me how she doesnt study when there was exams and all happening, and i thought it was really weird, but i realised its a GREAT way to de-stress. Yes i know the only paper left is Amath 2 and MCQs but i SHOULD be studying. HAHAH oh whatever, i will soon, before tuition starts :D
